  Some      marathon      feats     are    left    better unrepeated,   while   initial  attempts can  be both rewarding and helplessly frustrating.

  Such were the aspirations of the 15  dehydrated competitors    who   challenged  the  26-mile,  385 yard  course   of   the  third   annual  San  Miguel Marathon Saturday morning.

  The winner, 20-year old  Navy corpsman Keith Crowder,  crushed  last   year's  Guam  Running Club record of 3:16.16, eclispsing the three-hour barrier with a 2:55:50 clocking.
