Dear Guam Running Club Member,
GRC and Shell are pleased to announce the Shell Cash-Back Program. This program is designed to reward the GRC member for purchasing fuel from any of seven Shell Service Stations and to provide GRC with fund-raising assistance. At the same time you get a discount from the regular pump price.
Under the present agreement, 7.5 cents per gallon of fuel purchased will go to the GRC member in the form of a yearly rebate check issued by GRC. GRC will also receive 7.5 cents per gallon of fuel purchased. This money will be used by GRC to purchase equipment, supplies, t-shirts and other related GRC expenses.
Who Qualifies for the Rebate: Any GRC member, spouse of a GRC member who request(s) a Shell Cash Back Card qualifies for a Cash Back Rebate.
How Do I Get a Card: A request for a new or replacement card must come to Shell on GRC Letterhead. If you wish to join the program and have not received a card, please contact a GRC officer (listed below), so we may arrange to have a request for a card raised for you. Or use the convenient on-line application form below. GRC will transmit the request to Shell and Shell will immediately process the card(s) for you.
What If You Lose the Card: If you lose or misplace a Cash Back Card, please report it to GRC. They will notify Shell and we will put a hold on the lost card and re-issue you a new card. It takes approximately 24 hours for Shell to process and manufacture a new card. Shell will have all new cards delivered to the GRC office for you. (Since you pay by cash or credit card no one finding your card can charge or otherwise run up a bill for which you would be liable, so no worries! But do report it all the same).
How Does the Cash Back Program Work: Pull into any Shell Service Station to either the full or self-service islands.
Full Service Procedures: 1. The attendant will ask which product you wish dispensed to the car. 2. Please instruct the attendant as to your selection. 3. Once the fill up is complete, please pay cash/creditcard for the fuel. Then present your Cash Back Card to the attendant. The attendant will process your cash back credit with the cashier. 4. You will receive a receipt similar to any nationally recognized charge card. 5. Please retain the copy of the receipt for your records. This will be helpful to you at the end of the year when you balance your rebate payment. 6. Shell will collect all of the data for each individual GRC vehicle through each calendar month. 7. At the end of the month Shell's system will print a statement showing each individual's purchase in U.S. gallons. 8. Shell will issue a single rebate check to GRC each month. 9. In December, GRC will issue a rebate check to each member in the amount of 7.5 cents per gallon for each gallon of fuel purchased under the Shell Cash Back Program. Self Service Procedures: 1. Proceed to the cashier and pay cash/credit card for the quantity of fuel you wish to dispense into your car. 2. Please present your Cash Back Card to the cashier. The cashier will verify the card(s). 3. You will receive a receipt similar to any nationally recognized charge card. 4. Please retain the copy of the receipt for your records. This will be helpful to you at the end of the year when you balance your rebate payment. 5. Shell will collect all the data for each GRC member hrough each calendar month. 6. At the end of the month Shell's system will print a statement showing each individual's purchases in U.S. gallons. 7. Shell will issue a single rebate check to GRC each month. 8. In December, GRC will issue a rebate check to each member in the amount of 7.5 cents per gallon for each gallon of fuel purchased under the Shell Cash Back Program.

Products Included: At the present time the rebate is applied to fuel purchases only. The rebate will be applied to both Full Serve or Self Serve Premium, Regular and Diesel fuel.
